A kortárs zene megismertetéséért és népszerűsítéséért oly sokat fáradozó, ám valósággal fáradhatatlannak tűnő muzsikus azonban maga ad majd ajándékot a közönségnek ezen az estén, az elmúlt hatvan esztendő négy magyar fuvolakoncertjének megszólaltatásával: Petrovics Emil korai, 1958-as Fuvolaversenyétől és Bozay Attila 1990-es Pezzo concertatójától, a közöttünk élő és máig aktív mesterek, Dubrovay László és Kocsár Miklós alkotásaiig. Kocsár Concertinójában Matuz mellett ráadásul egy másik kiváló fuvolista, a Concerto Budapest szólamvezetője, Kaczander Orsolya számára is jut majd szólistafeladat. A koncert programja a Kodály Zoltán által 1906-ban diplomadarab gyanánt komponált Nyári este előadásával indul, a karmesteri feladatok ellátására pedig a kortárs zene népszerűsítésének másik hazai kiválósága, az ugyancsak Kossuth-díjas Rácz Zoltán vállalkozik majd ezen az ünnepi estén.
