A budapesti dupla teltházas koncertjeit követően, ráadásként november 25-én Sopronban lép fel a Zenekarral, Rachmaninov II. zongoraversenyének szólistájaként. A népszerű és oly igényes versenymű épp ilyen energikus és páratlan technikai tudású előadók számára készült 1900-1901-ben, elvégre a szólót Rachmaninov a saját képességeihez szabta.
Egy kis semmiség – ezt aztán igazán senki sem mondhatná Buniatishvili vállalkozására, annál inkább a nyitószámra, hiszen magyarul éppen ez Bernd Alois Zimmermann 1964-es ornitológiai kompozíciójának a címe. A holdfénynek is kitüntetett szerepet szánó kamarazenekari mű hét rövid tételből áll, s egy boogie-woogie-val zárul. Richard Strauss Divertimentója ugyancsak kamarazenekari apparátust igényel, azonban hét helyett nyolc tételből áll, s ezek mindegyike François Couperin csembalóműveinek motívumait gondolja tovább, a Straussnál majdnem kétszáz évvel korábban született francia barokk mester előtt tisztelegve.

Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
