Járt-e Cecile a Török Pál utcában? Ez a kérdés dönti el a Kék róka című darab összes szereplőjének további sorsát. Herczeg Ferenc a XX. század első felének egyik legsikeresebb színpadi szerzője volt. Az 1917-ben írt Kék róka című darabjának női főszerepét, a házasságtörés gyanújába keveredett nagyvilági asszonyt, Cecile-t mindig rangos színésznők játszották. A bemutatón Varsányi Irén, majd hosszú évekig Bajor Gizi. A darab felidézi a múlt század elejének hangulatát, amikor a nők gazdag eszköztárral bolondították meg és tartották kételyben a férfiakat, megbillentve őket akár nemes tartásukban is.
