Szinte mindenki ismeri a Kaukázusi krétakört, melynek alaptörténete már az ókor óta kísér minket. Jogos-e, ami igazságos? Igazságos-e, ami jogos? vagy igazságos? Kinek van joga dönteni egy másik ember sorsáról? Hogyan határozzák meg életünket a társadalmi körülmények és a véletlenek? Mire van szüksége egy cseperedő gyermeknek? Mind olyan kérdések, melyek csakugyan kiállták az évezredek próbáját.
Bertolt Brecht drámájának újszerű feldolgozása sok zenével, érzelemmel, és ahogy a Kerekasztaltól megszokhattuk, a nézőknek sem kell megtartaniuk a véleményüket…

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
