A harmincas özvegy a könyvtár gyermekrészlegét vezeti, az „árván maradt" harmincas gazda pedig huszonnégy tehén gondját viseli. A temetőben, ahová szinte naponta kijárnak, a sírköveik egymás mellett állnak. A két magányos ember egyszer csak váratlanul egymásra mosolyog, a hormonjaik cigánykerekeket kezdenek hányni – és bár minden ellene szól, szenvedélyes szerelemre lobbannak egymás iránt...
Vajon csak az a negyven kilométer az akadály, amely lakóhelyeiket elválasztja egymástól?
A fanyar humorral megírt komédia újabb adalék a jól ismert férfi-nő harcok történetéhez, fölvillantva közben a svéd hétköznapokat is, melyekről kiderül, nincsenek is annyira messze tőlünk.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
