His aim at this concert is to demonstrate how well Puccini and Wagner, as well as Miklós Rózsa, Ennio Morricone and The Lord of the Rings, can all fit together into a single programme.

Film music on an organ? Why not? But how will it sound? More exciting than one might imagine, after the canopy above our heads is lowered to provide the audience in the gallery with an unparalleled acoustic experience. Now, the organ will literally be placed in a new light as we find out how it is not only classical organ music that sounds so pleasant on the instrument, because familiar film music does too.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
Pairing the two German composers, Wagner and the Wagnerian Strauss in a single evening creates a sweeping and overwhelming fusion of expansive melodies and driving dramatic force. The encounter between Wagner’s mythical intensity and Strauss’s modernism is a dialogue between two musical giants who reshaped not only German but also international musical life. In the performance of the OPERA Orchestra, their compositions promise deep emotions, dense musical textures, and sonic grandeur.
