Scrooge-ot meglátogatja a múlt, a jelen és a jövő karácsony szelleme, akik magukkal viszik egy időutazásra. Szembesítik addigi kiábrándító életével, érzéketlenségével és hamarosan bekövetkező halálával. A fösvény és mogorva vénember kap egy utolsó lehetőséget, hogy átértékelje az életét, és nemcsak a saját, hanem környezete sorsát is megváltoztassa.”
