És mi a titka Neil Simon darabjainak? Frenetikus humor, lélekismeret, megindítóan gyöngéd érzelmesség, és szikrázóan szellemes dialógusok, amelyek minden művében magas fokon érvényesülnek.
A most bemutatásra kerülő musical a két világsztár – Neil Simon és Marvin Hamlisch – együttműködéséből született különlegesen szép, romantikus zenés komédia.
A játék hőse Vernon, a befutott, sikeres slágerszerző, és Sonia, a kezdő dalszövegíró. Mindketten hivatásuk megszállottjai, nem könnyű emberek. Bár első találkozásuktól kezdve remekül dolgoznak együtt, magánéleti kapcsolatuk azonban korántsem ilyen harmonikus. Senki sem akar feladni önmagából egy picit sem. A korkülönbség, az ízlések, a temperamentumok különbözősége is mind-mind komoly feszültség forrása, s ez még fokozódik, ahogyan Sonia korábbi párja láthatatlanul, de egyre agresszívebben közéjük furakodik. Így lesz a kétszemélyes játékból „édes hármasban.” Lesz-e végül „édeskettes”? Maradjon ez is titok, ahogyan az életben is a párkapcsolat, a szerelem, a házasság is tele van titkokkal, amelyeket soha nem tudunk megfejteni….

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
