Egy teljesen átlagosnak tűnő tizenéves lány történetén keresztül megismerthetjük őt és a környezetében élők életét is. Megelevenednek mindazok, akik fontos szerepet játszanak Emília, a középiskolás cigánylány történetében. Több generáció, sok nehézség és megannyi döntéshelyzet tárul elénk ebben a monodrámában. A családtagok életével párhuzamosan kirajzolódik előttünk a főhős sorsa is, végül elérkezünk a felelősségvállalás pillanatához. Egy életvidám előadás, ami természetes hangon beszél azokról az élethelyzetekről, amik egy roma lányról szólnak. A történet valamennyi szereplőjét Lovas Emília színésznő alakítja, aki a főkarakter, a Kaméleonlány mellett saját nagyszüleit, nővéreit, az osztálytársait, a fizikatanárt, és a színes ruhába öltözött cigány asszonyt is megszemélyesíti. Drámai pillanatokkal tarkított mozgalmas és látványos előadás arról, hogy milyen lehetőségei vannak ma egy fiatal roma lánynak az álmai megvalósítására.
