TE RONGYOS ÉLET… Új OPERETT bemutató! A zeneszerző KÁLMÁN IMRE sorsa maga is operettbe illő. A darabban egy önzetlen rajongó, egy gátlásos zseni, és egy jó szerepért mindenre elszánt fiatal színésznő történetén keresztül láthatunk bele a zeneszerző életébe, valamint a színház kulisszatitkaiba, ebbe a szövevényes, szenvedélyes, édes-keserű, bohókás, és izgalmas világba.
Kálmán Imre különös életet élt, és így különleges sors jutott Neki osztályrészül. Hallatlanul népszerű muzsikáját már 100 éve kedveli ország-világ. Természetesen a legnépszerűbb slágerei is felcsendülnek a darabban, mint pl. Te rongyos élet /Mondd meg hogy imádom, a Pesti nőket /Álom álom, édes álom / Túl az Óperencián / Az asszony összetör/ Szép város Kolozsvár /Hajmási Péter…..és sorolhatnánk hosszan.
Az író Meskó Zsolt, határtalan fantáziával megáldott művész ember, polihisztor, akinek az egyik musical-ét a Madách Színház jelenleg is nagy sikerrel játssza.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
