Kalauz Jutka imádja a munkáját, a kartársait és az életet „Futbóliában”. Az 50-es évek diktatúrájában egy átlagos napon hősnőnk rengeteg új dolgot tud meg a világról. Például, hogy ki rejtegetett cukrot, milyen cipőt kell hordania egy nőnek, mit hallgasson a rádióban, lehet-e mandarint termeszteni Magyarországon, miért fontosabb az „eszme”, mint a szex, hol van Tóth Anikó három galambja, és hogy miért és hová tűnik el hirtelen néhány ismerőse? Jutka nem szomorú, ő mindent megért, olyannak fogadja el az életet amilyen. Továbbra is jókedvűen énekel, már csak azért is, mert a „hurrá optimizmus” országában él és mert ez nem egy komoly színdarab, hanem egy zenés este Egri Mártával, azaz Kalauz Jutkával!
