Nyolc évvel ezelőtt jelent meg a Kaland a régi királlyal című dupla CD, amelyen Kovács Ákos a kedvenc Krúdy-novelláit olvassa fel. A kiadvány megjelenése óta Szigethy Gáborral, a hangfelvétel rendezőjével együtt kötetlen felolvasóesteken mutatják be a felvétel anyagát. Ezeken fellépéseken a Kossuth-díjas énekes prózai színészként lép a pódiumra. Több mint negyven sikeres előadás után érkezik Ákos Krúdy-estje Kecskemétre.

There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
