Joshua Bell (violon), Steven Isserlis (cello), Dénes Várjon (piano)
Várjon Dénes kamarazenei érdeklődésének és kiterjedt muzsikusi-baráti kapcsolatrendszerének már hosszú évek óta rendkívüli koncerteket, sőt koncertsorozatokat és fesztiválokat köszönhet a magyar közönség. E nagyszerű események sorába illeszkedik, helyesebben ezek sorából is kiemelkedik az a koncert, amely a legméltóbb helyen, a Zeneakadémia Nagytermében hoz össze hármat korunk legkiválóbb hangszeres szólistái és leghivatottabb kamaramuzsikusai közül. more

A megjelenésében könnyed, sőt laza, ám hegedűjátékában oly elkötelezett és fennkölt amerikai művész, Joshua Bell pedig igazi hamisítatlan világsztárja a klasszikus zenének. Bell, aki 2007-ben egy washingtoni metróállomáson adott utcazenészi inkognitóban szólókoncertet, ugyancsak rendszeres vendége hazánknak: legutóbb az általa vezetett Academy of St Martin in the Fields élén járt nálunk. Ők hárman a Várjon Dénes számára különösen fontos Robert Schumann darabjai mellé Chopin egyetlen cselló-zongora szonátáját, valamint Mendelssohn egyik legnépszerűbb kamaraművét választották, mely mű hallatán Schumann a 19. század Mozartjának nyilvánította zeneszerző kollégáját.
Műsor:
Schumann: Fantáziadarabok, op. 88
Chopin: g-moll cselló-zongora szonáta, op. 65
Schumann: a-moll hegedű-zongora szonáta, op. 105
Mendelssohn: d-moll zongoratrió, op. 49
