Rév Fülöp egy szelíd, barátságos fiúcska, aki Balatóniában éldegél, kedvence a tördemic, legkedvesebb elfoglaltsága a heverészés a szántódpusztán. Ám mikor a király megbetegszik, Akarattya hercegkisasszony parancsára Fülöp akaratlanul is az események középpontjában találja magát, hamarosan az ő kisfiúi hősiességén múlik, hogy megmenekül-e a király és vele az egész birodalom. Jeney Zoltán a Magyar Színház felkérésére készített új színpadi változatot saját lovagregény-folyamából.
