Ivancsics Ilona Jászai Mari-díjas színésznő, diplomát 1983-ban szerzett, a Színház- és Filmművészeti Főiskolán Marton László és Valló Péter osztályában. 1983–1993 között a József Attila Színház tagja volt, 1987-től a Szomszédok című teleregény Vágási Jutkaként volt látható, ami elhozta számára az országos ismertséget. 1996–2002 között a Soproni Petőfi Színház tagja volt. Szentendrén él 1987 óta, a várostól Pro Urbe díjat kapott. 2007-ben Száguldó Orfeum néven színházat alapított, a társulat 2010-től Ivancsics Ilona és Színtársai néven működött Szentendrén 2022-ig. Jelenleg az Újszinházban és a Turay Ida Színházban játszik. 2024-ben Szülőhelye Nagybajom díszpolgára lett.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
