"Tudom én jól, az a baja a világnak, hogy nem tehénpásztorok kormányozzák. Ha én valamikor miniszter leszek, mindent a visszájára fordítok. A csősztől elveszem a bunkósbotot. A pofonokat végképp eltiltom. Aki vét a törvény ellen, felpofoztatom a bakterrel. Az ország vászontarisznyájára lakatot tetetek, nehogy kilopják belőle a pénzt. Ha én leszek a fő, nem lesz panasza a szegény embernek, mert még a Bundás kutyának is akkora pampuskát juttatok, mint a két öklöm. Törvénybe iktatom, hogy palacsintán köll élni a tehénpásztornak."

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
