Csuja Imrében a versekhez való kötődés még kisgyermekkorában alakult ki, nagymamája révén. „Úgy történt, hogy én nem jártam óvodába, a nagymamámmal pedig sok időt töltöttem akkoriban, neki volt az a jó értelemben vett mániája, hogy nekem már 4-5 éves koromtól verseket tanítson. Úgyhogy elég sok verset tudtam már azelőtt, hogy iskolába mentem volna, és ki is próbálhattam. Akkoriban ugyanis összejártak az emberek egymáshoz munka után estefelé, összegyűltek pletykálkodni, „tanyázni”, ahogy mondták, és amikor kifogytak a történetekből, pletykákból, akkor mindig mondták: Imi, mondj egy verset! Így alakult ki és innen ered az est címe is.”
A sokak által kedvelt színművész most elsősorban Terézváros közönségét kápráztatja el verstudásával, miközben egyedi hangulatot teremt. A műsorban József Attila, Kosztolányi Dezső, Ady Endre, Radnóti Miklós, Arany János versei hangzanak el, valamint Babits Mihály Jónás könyve.

Az előadás a terézvárosi önkormányzat és az Eötvös10 kultúra napi ajándéka a terézvárosiak számára.
A díjtalan belépésre jogosító regisztrációs lapok 2023. január 9-től munkanapokon 9.00-17.00 között igényelhetők kizárólag személyesen, terézvárosi lakcímkártya bemutatásával az Eötvös10 Művelődési Ház (VI., Eötvös utca 10.) recepcióján.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
Pairing the two German composers, Wagner and the Wagnerian Strauss in a single evening creates a sweeping and overwhelming fusion of expansive melodies and driving dramatic force. The encounter between Wagner’s mythical intensity and Strauss’s modernism is a dialogue between two musical giants who reshaped not only German but also international musical life. In the performance of the OPERA Orchestra, their compositions promise deep emotions, dense musical textures, and sonic grandeur.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
