Az est címadó világslágere szerzőjének, John Lennonnak azt tanította az édesanyja, hogy az élet kulcsa a boldogság. Amikor a későbbi sztártól iskolás korában megkérdezte egy tanára, hogy mi lesz, ha felnő, azt írta válaszul: boldog. A tanár áthúzta a választ, és azt véste alá pirossal: „Rosszul értelmezted a kérdést.” Az öntudatos, kisdiák Lennon nem hagyta annyiban a dolgot, azt válaszolta neki: „Maga értelmezi félre az életet!”
Az ilyen szabad szellemiségű, vagány zsenik dalait hallgathatják meg az érdeklődők Horgas Eszter és Falusi Mariann előadásában, a ClassJazz Band zenekar kíséretében. Az est játékmestere: Kálloy Molnár Péter színész, énekes.

A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
