November 5-12. között az impozáns szakmai zsűri által már előzetesen kiválasztott hatvan legjobb karmester hazánkban versenyzik, köztük a hazai koncertlátogatók körében már jól ismert két magyar, Erdélyi Dániel és Károlyi Sándor is. A versenysorozatot lezáró gálakoncerten a középdöntőben kiválasztott három legjobbnak bizonyuló dirigens méretteti meg magát.
Közreműködik a MÁV Szimfonikus Zenekar; a zsűri elnöke: Vásáry Tamás zongoraművész, karmester.
Műsor: Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Bartók, Liszt, Mendelssohn és Sibelius műveiből

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
