Vezényel Keller András
Három hegedűverseny, három fiatal és rendkívül tehetséges hegedűs előadásában - a hegedű mestereként is okkal számon tartott Keller András vezényletével: ez a koncert bízvást a hegedű ünnepének is beillenék. A két világhódító hangszeres virtuóz, Hubay Jenő 1907-es 3. A három ifjú szólista közül a Concerto Budapest közönsége a legjobban alighanem Miranda Liut ismerheti, hiszen 2016 szeptembere óta ő a zenekar koncertmestere. Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux hozzá hasonlóan még csupán a húszas évei elején jár, de már szintén több nemzetközi versenygyőzelmet és jelentős debütálást számlálhat életrajzában. A náluknál öt esztendővel idősebb, 1991-es születésű spanyol Pablo Hernán Benedí ugyancsak világjáró muzsikus, aki a kamarazenélés terén is komoly sikereket aratott már, hiszen Alina Ibragimova mellett ő is ott hegedül napjaink egyik legizgalmasabb produkciókat hallató vonósnégyesében, a Chiaroscuro Quartetben.

Our offer
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
