Virág úr régi vágású főkönyvelő. Egész életét ugyanazon cég, ugyanazon asztalánál töltötte. Precíz, megbízható munkaerő, tisztes családapa. Tudja mit követel az illem és a becsület. Egyetlen gyengéje a főnök titkárnője, Gizike – aki persze másért rajong reménytelenül.
...és ahogy annak lennie kell, a kusza szerelem minden tisztes életet felborít. Elég egy szóváltás, egy lovagias helytállás és elindul a lavina: pofon becsületsértés, párbaj… – vagyis mindaz, ami egy bájos, békebeli szerelmi komédiához kell.
