A darab főszereplője Monori a Teleki tér piac mindenki által ismert, nagynevű kereskedője.

Mindenkit ismer, mindenkiről tud mindent, s egyengeti a családja sorsát, persze mindent a saját szájíze és értékrendje szerint. S közben Monori egész életében Istennel harcol, azt hiszi, Istent is megveheti kilóra. Hiszen így ragadja ki a halál torkából diftréiás unokáját is.
A háború után, hogy bebiztosítsa magát, aranyat vásárol. Csakhogy hiba csúszik a számításba, mert az arany ára már nem a régi. Az idő múlásával egyre rosszabbul megy az üzlet, Monori kénytelen bezárni a boltot, s elrejteni az aranyát, amit az egyetlen értékálló ingóságnak tart a romlott világban. Egy nap mégis úgy dönt, hogy visszaveszi kezébe a sorsát: csinál egy utolsó nagy üzletet…

Our offer
Attila Toronykőy OPERA TOUR WITH PAPAGENO 60-minute guided tour of the Opera House. For primary school children. Please note that this programme is in in Hungarian and we do not provide any translations.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
