A Hot Jazz Band zenéje az idők folyamán sok kicsi kedvencévé vált. Ez inspirálta a zenekart, hogy Magyarországon a jazz-zenekarok közül elsőként készítsen gyerekeknek szóló koncertanyagot. Az 1930-as, ‘40-es években is íródtak hasonló szerzemények, de az együttes repertoárjába átirat és népdal is került.
