A Hot Jazz Band ismét megtartja immár hagyományos előszilveszteri koncertjét. A mindig vidám hangulatú estén a hat zenész a már jól ismert számaik mellett terveikről is zenés beszámolót tartanak.

A Hot Jazz Band egyedülálló eredményeket, páratlan karriert tudhat magáénak. A megalakuláskor még főként dixielandet játszó zenészek hamar rájöttek, hogy ez a műfaj sokkal gazdagabb, mint az elsőre megismert dixieland-repertoár. Az 1920-as, ’30-as, ’40-es évek muzsikája talán a legszínesebb könnyűzenei műfaj. A méltán népszerű charleston, shimmy, fox trott táncok dallamai, a ’20-as évek gramofonos hangzása, a ’30-as évek fox, szving táncok lüktető zenéje és a ’40-es évek szving és amerikai dixieland revival stílusai keltek életre általuk.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
