Négy férfi - Az idős apa, két felnőtt fia, idős testvére - évek óta élnek egy Londoni házban anya nélkül, nő nélkül. Váratlanul megjelenik az amerikában élő harmadik fivér fiatal feleségével, mulatságos, borzalmas, szentimentális, vicces, fájdalmas. Sírni kell, és persze röhögni.
