Harp virtuosos – concert

In each episode of the “Duel of Virtuosos” concert series, all the performances revolve around one instrument. The young talents compete with surprise guests, showing off their skills, while the audience decides whose performance they like better.

In the concert, the talents of Virtuosos show the audience how exciting, entertaining, spectacular and trendy classical music can be.

The artists:

Bianka Szauer – finalist of the youngest group in Season 1 of Virtuosos

First time she showed up with her stool and cushion on the stage of Virtuosos, the jury was instantly swept off their feet. First time she started playing the harp, she amazed professionals and the audience alike.

She’s most proud of the fact that despite her being only 12, he played with the Symphonic Band of Szeged multiple times now. Participates in national and international contests with great results.

Bettina Tóth – finalist of the teenage group in Season 1 of Virtuosos

Gergely Kesselyák was in awe right the first time the he heard the Szeged-born harpists play. Himself and others said it many times throughout the show: “I love the harp.”

Bettina’s delicate personality and style made many people fall in love with the instrument. The young girl once said the atmosphere the harp creates is a very meaningful experience in her life.

Participates in national and international contests with great results, performs at festivals both in Hungary and abroad.

Anastasia Razvalyaeva – internationally renowned harp artist

Anastasia was born in Russia but she has been living in Hungary since 1993. She started playing the harp at the age of 7, her mother, Natalia Gorbunova was her first teacher, then she got admitted to the Franz Liszt Conservatorium of Szeged at the age of 8. She graduates from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music as a harp artist. She participates in many international contests and master courses, performs solo nights nationwide. In 2010, she became one of the four exceptional scholars of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music; in 2011, she got awarded the Junior Prima Award; since 2011, she has been a doctorate student of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music (DLA).

Alexander Boldachev – internationally renowned harp artist

He has been playing the piano since the age of 4, the harp since the age of 5, composing since the age of 6 and played with an orchestra for the first time when he was 9. He studied at the St Petersburg State Conservatorium and graduated majoring in harp, then got admitted to the Zurich School of Arts, also majoring in harp. He participates in many international contests, performs in concert halls all over Europe and Asia.

Alexander Kuznetsov – internationally renowned violin artist

He was born in St Petersburg and started his musical studies at a very young age, then got admitted to the Zurich School of Arts. Winner of many international contests, regular guest of festivals and concerts in Europe and Asia. He’s currently a member of the Zurich Opera.
