Hamupipőke, szülei halála után gonosz mostohaanyjával és annak két undok lányával él kiszolgáltatott szolgasorban. Amikor a királyi udvar meghívókat küld szét, hogy a fiatal hercegnek menyasszonyt találjanak, Hamupipőke reménykedni kezd, hogy ő is rátalálhat a boldogságra. Mostohaanyja nem engedi el a bálba, azonban egy varázslatos tündér segítségével a fiatal lány élete örökre megváltozik...
