A Hamupipőke a Grimm–fivérek egyik legismertebb, örökérvényű meséje jámborságról és gonoszságról, hatalomvágyról és becsületről, ármányról és hűségről. Hamupipőke egy bálban, tánc közben ismeri meg a Herceget, s előadásunk is tánccal, zenével meséli el történetüket. A Ghymes zenéjére készült lendületes koreográfiákban elevenedik meg a királyi udvar élete, a mostohák cívódása, az elveszett cipő gazdájának keresése és a szerelmesek egymásra találása. A táncos-zenés forma kifejezően közvetíti a történetben rejlő érzelmeket, emberi értékeket. A Duna Művészegyüttes az európai népek táncaiból (Skandináviától a Balkánig) merítve hozta létre a gyerekek számára érthető és élvezhető, látványos és derűs, ugyanakkor tanulságos előadását.
Our offer
The tale of Leander the goblin and Princess Linseed, brimming with magic and a seemingly unbreakable curse, not to mention a wealth of twists and turns, is a genuinely good yarn. Set to a libretto by Barnabás Szöllősi that is based on Andor Szilágyi's fable for the theatre and written at the OPERA's request in the 2014/15 season, Erkel Prize-winning composer Zsófia Tallér's masterful, expressive and entertaining music makes this Hungarian fairy tale opera an enjoyable experience for children and adults alike, and, we hope, a possible future classic.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
