Halász Judit színészi pályafutásával párhuzamosan új műfajt teremtett előadóművészként. Magyar költők verseit évtizedek óta énekli gyermekeknek a magyar könnyűzene legjobbjainak megzenésítésében. Generációk nőttek fel lemezein. A „Csirbiri” koncerten a filmkoncert zenei anyagából hallható válogatás, amely csokorba fogja Halász Judit egyedülálló pályafutásának legnépszerűbb alkotásait (Helikoffer, Állatkerti útmutató, Boldog születésnapot, Micimackó). Legutoljára 2021 őszén jelent meg lemeze „A vitéz, a kalóz, meg a nagymama”, majd ezt követően 2022 őszén egy válogatás lemez „Miénk a világ” címmel.
Legfontosabb küldetése fenntartani a családok, a gyerekek magyar költészet iránti érdeklődését. A gyerekek – Magyarországon elsőként – a Mosoly-Rend lovagjának választották. A Vígszinház tagja, – a magyarországi UNICEF elnökségi tagja. A magyar állam Jászai Mari – és Érdemes Művész díjjal, a Magyar Köztársasági Érdemrend Tiszti Keresztjével, valamint Kossuth-díjjal jutalmazta eddigi munkáját.
