Gryllus Vilmos neve fogalom, művészetén gyerekek százezrei nőttek fel. Ki ne dúdolná az első hangok után azonnal a Málnát, a Somvirágot vagy, hogy las-san jár a csi-ga-bi-ga? Sikerének egyik titka talán a dalaiból áradó derű, illetve az, ahogyan a koncertjein – zseniálisan és egyben tudatosan – bevonja a gyerekeket a közös zenélésbe.
Ültetett nézőtér és hangosítás nélküli, közvetlen hangvételű örömmuzsikálásra invitáljuk a legkisebbeket és szüleiket egy kicsi, barátságos zeneszobába. Ebben a szeretetteljes légkörben ismerkedhetnek meg sok akusztikus hangszerrel és találkozhatnak – talán először – a zene csodálatos világával.
A koncert után kreatív kézműves foglalkozás várja a kicsiket, ahol szüleikkel együtt alkothatnak.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
The world-renowned American baritone, who recently celebrated his 70th birthday, sang in choirs and studied music from childhood. After winning several competitions, he was taken under the wing of the legendary coloratura soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, which helped launch his European career.
