Játsszunk! Játsszunk azzal, mi lenne, ha jó lenne az élet itt a földön. Mi lenne, ha jók lennénk, s ha nem tudjuk a megoldást, mi lenne, ha eljönne az Isten, az UFO, a mit tudom én...és újra írna mindent.
Mi lehet az oka, hogy a hetvenes években szinte egyszerre, de egymástól függetlenül két mű is a zene, mégpedig a közérthető zene nyelvére fordította a világ legrégibb és legszebb történetét, a Bibliát? Talán az a tény, hogy kultúránk alapműve évtizedekig méltatlan mellőzöttségbe kényszerült. Generációk nőttek fel úgy, hogy legfeljebb érintőleges ismeretséget kötöttek vele. Pedig jellemformáló tanításait, kristálytiszta mélységű történeteit egyetlen társadalom sem nélkülözheti. Hit nélkül – valamilyen hit nélkül – az emberiség a vesztébe rohan. És ha éppen a zene az az eszköz, ami célba juttatja az üzenetet, és eltalálja az ifjú és idősebb nézők szívét – hát akkor szóljon a gyönyörű, fiatal zene!

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
