Gáláns ünnepek – A szerelmes Debussy
„Nem árt időről időre a helyére tenni egy olyan jelentős zeneszerzőt, mint Debussy, akinek életműve rettenetesen szenved a beskatulyázástól” – véli Kocsis Zoltán. Részben ezért hozta létre a francia zeneszerző életművéből keresztmetszetet adó hatrészes sorozatát, amelyet a francia komponista születésének 150. évfordulója alkalmából mutat be a Művészetek Palotája a 2012/2013-as évadban.

A negyedik este zenei főszereplője a Verlaine versekre készült dalciklus, a Gáláns ünnepek lesz, s e végtelenül kifinomult dalokat fogja ellenpontozni Debussy viharos szerelmi életének néhány dokumentuma. Művészet és valóság viszonyáról szól tehát az előadás: arról, hogy az első felesége öngyilkossági kísérlete révén a napilapok bulvárrovatába is bekerülő Debussy – vagy a nem kevésbé viharos érzelmi életet élő Verlaine – miként gondolkozott a szerelem művészi megjelenítésének kérdéséről.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
