Orfeum’s exceptional artist Gabriel and his jazz trio perform the classics of Hungarian popular music from between the two world wars until the 80’s. This repertoire includes beloved cabaret pieces, dance music from the 50’s, as well as songs by Eva Mikes, Ilona Hollos, Pal Szecsi, and Peter Mate.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. The World of Ballet Remembers a Hungarian Legend 2014 saw the sudden passing of the international ballet artist and ballet director Iván Nagy. After his retirement, he had returned to serve his country by working as head artistic consultant for the Hungarian State Opera.
