Egy férfi, aki képtelen megállapodni. Egy nő, aki bármit megtenne, hogy megtartsa szerelmét. És egy leány, aki még nem tudja, mi mindent kell majd feláldoznia érte. Füst Milán drámájában lecsupaszított embereket írt meg, akik szövevényes, vad történetük során lelkük legmélyére szállnak alá. Züllés, sötét szenvedélyek, elszalasztott életek, vágy a halál után, miközben egyre ég a kiolthatatlan remény: hogy valaha boldogok lehetnek.
Az alapötletet egy 1913-as újsághírben találta meg a szerző, de a figurák a sajátjai, a Boldogtalanok pedig ma már az egyik legfontosabb dráma a magyar színműirodalomban. Számos legendás előadást is megélt a huszadik század során, igazi kihívás színészeknek, rendezőknek egyaránt. Miskolcon idén mutatjuk be először Füst Milán örök klasszikusát.
