Jópofa, laza és nem mellesleg kissé trehány fickó, aki szereti a társaságot így rendszeresen pókerpartikat rendez barátainak: Murraynak, Roynak, Vinnienek, Speednek és Félixnek. Egy szép napon kiderül, hogy Félixet elhagyta a felesége, ezért Oscar rövid időre befogadja barátját. Ez konfliktusok sorát indítja el köztük, melynek részesévé válnak a pókerezők és a két szingli felsőszomszéd Gwendolin és Cecili is.
