Művészi és könnyed, hagyományos és innovatív, értelmes és érzelmes… Kibékíthetetlennek tűnő ellentétek egységgé formálása, stílusok és kultúrák találkoztatása éppúgy jellemzi Lackfi János költészetét, mint a 13 fős Fugato Orchestra hangzásvilágát. Az elektronikával, dobbal, basszusgitárral és énekesekkel kiegészített szimfonikus kamaraegyüttes vezetője, Alpár Balázs a különböző műfajok lényegi energiáit egyesíti hibrid zenéjében.
A Hibrid dalok műsora Lackfi János kifejezetten a Fugato Orchestra számára írt új szövegeire és a hibrid tematika mentén válogatott korábbi verseire épül. A zeneszámokat összefűző szövegeket maga a szerző adja elő.
