Frida Kahlo a huszadik század egyik legkülönösebb sorsú festője, legizgalmasabb asszonya, legnagyobb hatású, sajátos, csak rá jellemző utat járó művésze. Egészen a végletekig szabad, független ember (és nő!), aki mindig kész megfizetni az árat döntéseiért és tévedéseiért, s akinek alapvetően két, egymást erőteljesen kiegészítő pólus határozza meg az életét, ezáltal alkotásait is: az élet szomjazó vágya, és a kora gyermekkora óta kísérőjéül szegődő fájdalom. Előadásunk, mely jórészt Frida írásaira, műveire, valamint Lorca-szövegekre épül ennek az egyedi, kivételes életútnak szubjektív hangulatú megragadására tesz kísérletet.

While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
