Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe, vagy épp Paul Newman alakja finoman sejlik fel egy-egy figurában, miközben a teret uraló, három darabra szakadó, majd újra összeálló bőrüléses Cadillac némán száguld valami láthatatlan cél felé, hol továbbrepítve, hol elsodorva a szereplőket.
