Frakk, a macskák réme

A mese a kutya–macska barátságra épül. Irma néni és Károly bácsi két elkényeztetett cicájukkal, Lukréciával és Szerénkével éli mindennapjait egy falusi házacskában. A két macska rendkívül lusta és szemtelen, ezért Károly bácsi nem kedveli őket túlságosan. A gond akkor kezdődik, amikor Lukrécia belefekszik Károly bácsi karosszékébe. Innentől kezdve Károly bácsi nagyon vágyik már egy harcias kutyára, aki megnevelné a macskákat. Ekkor érkezik Frakk, akit Károly bácsi egyik volt osztálytársától kap, és aki rövid időn belül a macskák réme lesz.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
