2011. november 7-én hétfőn este 8 órakor Fourplay koncert lesz a Budapest Kongresszusi Központban.
A Fourplay egy olyan all-star csapat, melyet Bob James billentyűs, Lee Ritenour gitáros, Nathan East basszusgitáros és Harvey Mason dobos alapított 1991-ben, miután a négyes részt vett Bob James 'Grand Piano Canyon' c. albumának felvételein.

Sajnos azonban, hogy Európában csak ritkán turnéznak. Rajongói bázisuk természetesen az USA-ban és Japánban található. Így nem feltűnő az sem, ha egy-egy lemezük Magyarországon is nehezen beszerezhető, igaz alig több, mint 10 év alatt 7 stúdiólemezt és egy válogatást adtak ki. A '99-es Snowbound-ot például Európában csak hónapokkal később lehetett megszerezni, mint az USA-ban. Ma már persze a helyzet sokat javult, és egyre több hívet szereztek maguknak Kelet-Európában is.
1993. decemberében a Capitol Studios-ban apró közönségnek adtak a koncertet, melyről két részes filmfelvétel is készült An Evening Of Fourplay címmel. Az anyag 1999 óta DVD-n is kapható. A '99-es Montreaux-i Jazz Festival-ről készült DVD-n is szerepelnek (Casino Lights '99)a Fourplay tagjai, mind szólóban (Bob James Trio, Larry Carlton), mint ismét kvartettként. Legelső albumok 2001-ben DVD Audio formátumban is megjelent, 6 csatornára kikevert és sztereó változatban.
1997-től, a harmadik stúdióalbum, majd a válogatás lemez után Lee Ritenour helyére Larry Carlton gitáros szerződött, aki folytatta a tehetséges gitáros stílusát új elemekkel gazdagítva a zenekart.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
