A barátság fontos dolog; akkor is, ha az ember férjnél van, hát még, ha válik! Milyen jó is, ha van egy barátnő, aki összeszed bennünket, amíg összeszedjük magunkat, akire főzhetünk, akinek átrendezhetjük a lakását – még ha nem is éhes, és egyenesen rühelli a rendet. Vagyis a barátság arra is jó, hogy megtudjuk: néha egyáltalán nem lehet minket elviselni… és nem is biztos, hogy mindenben a férfiak a hibásak… Akár nevetni is lehetne azon, hogy egyikünk sem könnyű eset… Jack Lemmon és Walter Matthau után most a két férfi szerepét két IGAZI NŐ alakítja, az ő négy barátnőjük pedig csak rátesz egy lapáttal!
