Hangversenyünkön kinyílik a Kodály Kórus zenés fotóalbuma, és olyan alkotásokat mutatunk be Önöknek, melyekben központi szerepet kap a ragyogó, megtisztító és reményt adó fényesség. Hogyan lehet hangokban kifejezni és lefesteni egy alapvetően vizuális jelenséget? Lehet-e zenével ábrázolni a sötétséget legyőző fényt, vagy a csillagok ragyogását? Hogyan éri el egy komponista, hogy kórusdarabján keresztül átélhessük a reményt és a megtisztulást? Különböző korok zeneszerzőinek művein keresztül keressük a választ a fenti kérdésekre.
A Kodály Kórus életének kulcsfontosságú alakja Gulyás György alapító karnagy, akinek életműve és fényes sikerei mind a mai napig irányt adnak. November 11-én, halálának évfordulóján róla is megemlékezünk.

The tale of Leander the goblin and Princess Linseed, brimming with magic and a seemingly unbreakable curse, not to mention a wealth of twists and turns, is a genuinely good yarn. Set to a libretto by Barnabás Szöllősi that is based on Andor Szilágyi's fable for the theatre and written at the OPERA's request in the 2014/15 season, Erkel Prize-winning composer Zsófia Tallér's masterful, expressive and entertaining music makes this Hungarian fairy tale opera an enjoyable experience for children and adults alike, and, we hope, a possible future classic.
