A mi Annánk egy jómódú házaspárnál szobalányként dolgozik. A férj, Bernard rábeszéli feleségét, hogy látogassa meg vidéken élő édesanyját, mondván, neki is vidékre kell utaznia. Valós szándéka, hogy Cathrine-t, a szeretőjét felcsalogassa lakásába, csakhogy a feleség előtt is felcsillan a lehetőség a félrelépésre. Ha férje nincs otthon, találkozhatna barátjával, Roberttel otthon. Ezért Annát elküldi vidékre. Az utazásba mindenki beleegyezik, de ígéretét senki nem tartja be.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
