Hogy mi a közös Maudeban és Haroldban? Első ránézésre semmi, hiszen Harold egy fiatal, búskomor arisztokrata férfi, Maude pedig, nos hát… Maude egy jelenség. Az egyetlen közös bennük, hogy mind a ketten imádnak temetésekre járni, éppen így találkoznak. A furcsa megismerkedéstől egy kalandos hét veszi kezdetét, autólopással, fókával, faültetéssel, tánccal, zenével, kis szerelemmel, és sok nevetéssel. Esztergályos Cecília remek humora varázslatossá teszi Maudeot, akibe a végén mindenki szerelmes lesz, még Harold is, akit Lipták Péter alakít. A darab páratlan érzékenységgel mondja ki a nagy igazságot: az élet szép, csak szeretni kell, csak nevetni kell!

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
