A hajdani segédszínész, ez az örökös háttérember először roppant zavarba jön, nem tudja, hogyan oldja meg ezt a számára váratlan, már-már szürreális helyzetet, de aztán egyre jobban feltalálja magát, mesélni kezd az életéről, a színházról, hajdan volt nagy színészekről, s mulatságos vagy szívszorító anekdotákat, emlékeket idéz fel a kulisszák előtt és a kulisszák mögött történtekről.
