Ettore Scola filmklasszikusa az olasz mozi műremeke, mely 1977-ben aratott világsikert Sophia Loren és Marcello Mastroianni főszereplésével, a Legjobb Idegennyelvű Film Oscar-díjára jelölték, ugyanebben a kategóriában elnyerte a Golden Globe-ot és a Cézar-díjat. Magyarországon először kerül színpadra, Iványi Árpád rendezésében, Dobó Kata, Réti Barnabás és Nagy Mari főszereplésével.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
