Ha Madách Imre Tragédiájával kezd el foglalkozni öt színész, egy fiatal rendező és egy apró stáb, gyakran kérdezik meg a barátaik tőlük: "Ti normálisak vagytok?" Noha a jelenetek eredeti sorrendjét felforgatjuk, és sokat el is hagyunk közülük, abban bízunk, hogy talán megérthetjük a megszállottan kereső Akárki történetének legfontosabb aspektusait.

While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
