„Haldokló asszony keresi szeretteit. Irdatlan vagyon forog kockán..." – olvassa a hirdetést Leo és Jack, a két állástalan Shakespeare-színész. Agyukban máris megfogan egy ördögi gondolat... Mikor azonban kiderül, hogy a keresett rokonok tulajdonképpen nők, rögtön megtervezik, hogy nőnek adják ki magukat, végtére is színészek, a tét pedig nem csekély.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
