Tudjuk, hogy Diótörő így el volt átkozva, meg úgy győzedelmeskedett a szeretet erejével, de belegondolt már bárki is, hogy szegény egereknek milyen nehéz sorsuk van? Félünk tőlük, kártevőnek csúfoljuk őket, ők pedig komolyan éheznek. Miért, annyira hiányzik maguknak az az egy-két, vagy huszonszáztízezer kiló sajt és szalonna? Magának például pont nem. Magának tartogatja azt az oldalast otthon a kamrában, igaz? Igazságot a rágcsálóknak! Nyerjünk végre betekintést az ő oldalukba is! Mert nekik is – épp annyira, ha nem jobban, mint nekünk – igazuk van! Csak egy kis szeretetre vágynak. Meg persze egy kis sajtra…

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
