A világhírű film a Love Story igazi klasszikusként járta be az egész világot a 70-es években. Az Oscar-díjas film most a színpadon kel újból életre musical formájában. Az egyébként drámai súlyú musicalt a 70-es évek legsikeresebb amerikai világslágerei teszik szórakoztatóvá. A darab fő zenei vonala természetesen az Oscar-díjas és Golden Globe díjas dal a Where Do I Begin. A színpadi mű miről szólhatna másról, mint a szerelemről, miközben bepillantást nyerünk két New York-i fiatal társadalmi különbségek miatti küzdelmébe családjaikkal.
A produkció elsődleges értéke, hogy nem akar több lenni, mint az élet, hogy tiszta, egyszerű és emberi érzéseket mutat megrettentő, finom érzékenységgel, miközben mosolyt csal és könnyeket fakaszt nézőink arcára.

A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
